Job Description
East Africa Bottling S.C, a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, is the sole bottler for Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia. We are very excited to invite qualified candidates who are prepared to work with passion and focus for the position of Reward and Remuneration Specialist. The job holder will provide a full range of administrative payroll and system support services to the Reward and Remuneration Manager, HR team, leaders and employees ensuring that the department provides a professional service. The position reports to the Reward and Remuneration Manager.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Serves as the subject matter expert on Payroll related matters.
  • Ensures the accuracy and timely remittance of the payroll to employees.
  • Supports the consolidation and management of labour cost budgets.
  • Monitors, identifies and advises on the impact of new legislation on payroll and benefits procedures whenever relevant.
  • Reviews and optimizes system for effective handling and maintenance of payroll files and employee-related payroll data.
  • Ensures compilation and distribution of HR Employee Information to authorized recipients.
  • Oversees the preparation and settlement of tax and other payments to different government stakeholders.
Skills, Experience & Education
  • First Degree in Accounting or Accounting and Finance or Management or related field of study with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Human Resource Management specifically payroll administration.
  • Exposure in HR Information System.
  • In depth knowledge of Time and Attendance Systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial matters.
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets.
