Description
Serve Global, a foreign NGO engaged in child protection and youth development program, is looking for experienced fundraising officer.
Key roles
- Manage, support and develop imaginative fundraising activities, some of which will be events-based
- Contribute to bid writing for grant/trust applications
- Inspire new supporters to raise money, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters
- To develop and design fundraising materials, including the Serve Global website, newsletters, fundraising leaflets, sponsorship packages and letters to donors
- To identify and develop new fundraising activities and events in conjunction with the Fundraising Plan
- To promote the work of the company through presentations, the writing of PR materials, press releases, advertisements and media campaigns
- To engage, develop and maintain professional relationships with individual members of the local community, local companies and other community organisations in order to promote one-off donations and regular giving
- To prepare, submit and follow-up new fundraising applications and initiatives
Educational qualifications
- BA/MA, Economics, Social work, Project Management, Management, Psychology, and related filed of studies
Experiences
- Experience of fundraising
- At least two year’s relevant experience
- Experience of working in a customer service role
- Experience of working to targets and deadlines
- Excellent written English skills
Salary: Negotiable
